Mervin Shuter and his father purchased the first Red Poll Heifer in 1941 and since that day Shuter Sunset Farms has been dedicated to raising premium quality, great tasting beef for the local community.
Mike Shuter is the go-to expert on soil health in no-till, strip-till, and cover crop farming. He’s a corn, soybean, beef cattle, and hog producer from east-central Indiana and has been no-tilling for 30 years and strip-tilling for 10 years.
